Parking Terms and Risk Acknowledgment

1. License to park only
Payment grants a temporary, revocable license to park one authorized vehicle in an available permitted space for the purchased period. Parking does not create a lease, tenancy, storage agreement, or bailment. Aries Parking and the property owner do not take possession, custody, or control of the vehicle or its contents.
2. Park at your own risk
Vehicles and all property left inside or attached to vehicles are parked at the customer’s own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aries Parking, the property owner, and their affiliates, employees, contractors, and agents are not responsible for theft, attempted theft, vandalism, burglary, collision, fire, flooding, weather damage, falling objects, broken glass, damage caused by other vehicles or persons, civil unrest, utility failure, governmental action, earthquake, natural disaster, or other events beyond their reasonable control.
3. Vehicle security and personal property
The customer is responsible for locking the vehicle, closing all windows and doors, activating available security systems, removing keys, and removing valuables. Cameras, lighting, gates, patrols, employees, or other security measures do not guarantee against theft, damage, vandalism, or personal injury.
4. Vehicle and insurance
The customer represents that the vehicle is legally registered, insured, operable, and authorized to be parked. The customer is responsible for maintaining insurance sufficient to cover theft, damage, loss, liability, and personal property.
5. Parking period and vehicle information
The vehicle may remain only for the time purchased. The customer is responsible for entering the correct license plate or VIN, location, and parking duration. Incorrect information may cause the vehicle to appear unpaid. Payment does not guarantee a particular space unless a reserved space is expressly identified.
6. Enforcement and removal
Vehicles may be subject to warning, enforcement action, or towing when authorized by posted rules and applicable law, including vehicles with no valid payment, vehicles remaining after the authorized period, vehicles in restricted areas, and vehicles blocking access. Towing requires separate legal verification and authorization where applicable.
7. Refunds
Parking fees are generally nonrefundable after the purchased period begins. Aries Parking may approve refunds for duplicate charges, documented system errors, or other circumstances at its discretion.
8. Prohibited conduct
Vehicle repair, sleeping or living in a vehicle, commercial activity, unlawful conduct, abandonment, blocking spaces, and storage of hazardous, illegal, flammable, or explosive materials are prohibited unless expressly authorized.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aries Parking and the property owner are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or loss-of-use damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising from fraud, willful misconduct, or violation of applicable law.
10. Incidents and emergencies
Emergencies should be reported to 911. Theft, vandalism, collision, or property damage should be reported promptly to law enforcement and Aries Parking. Reporting an incident does not constitute an admission of liability.
11. Posted rules
Customers must follow all posted signs, property rules, traffic markings, fire-lane restrictions, accessibility rules, and instructions from authorized personnel. Applicable law and legally required notices control if they conflict with these electronic terms.
12. California law and severability
These terms are governed by California law. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the fullest extent permitted by law.
